Guild Advancement Program (GAP)
OBJECTIVE The Guild Advancement Program (GAP) is designed to encourage weavers of all levels of development to advance their knowledge and skills in a program that is graduated and sets standards for each level of achievement.
QUALIFICATION FOR APPLICATION An applicant must be a current member in good standing with the Central Pennsylvania Guild of Handweavers.

PROGRAM
- There are five levels of development: BEGINNER (B), APPRENTICE (A), JOURNEYMAN (J), ADVANCED JOURNEYMAN (AJ), AND MASTER WEAVER (MW).
- Requirements for each skill level must be met before a candidate may advance to the next level.
- Applicants must begin the program at the Beginner level and progress in order to the other levels.
- Only one level may be completed each year.
