OnTap Tapestry Group

About Us:

The OnTap Tapestry Group is a tapestry weaving study group that meets on the same day as regular guild meetings, at the Trone library, 10am to 12pm.

Special Presentation - September 3, 2025.

On September 3, 2025, the OnTap Tapestry Group, conducted the general Guild Program. Our program, The Art of Tapestry Weaving, began with an introduction to tapestry weaving and the OnTap Group, followed by a Power Point of basic tapestry information. Our members, weaving on a variety of tapestry looms, were busy weaving their demonstration pieces throughout this portion of the program.
Afterwards, they each showed the guild their finished tapestries, woven especially for this program.

Display Tables were set up for guild members to examine tapestry books & information. Small Tapestry Pouch Kits were made beforehand, complete with instructions, and given to guild members to take home for weaving a tapestry pouch.

The OnTap members hope that folks learned a little more about tapestry weaving and all that is involved in this unique weave structure.

OnTap Membership consists of:  Gail Baker, Pat Bitting, Connie Davis, Helen Delano, Christine Forsythe, Mary Hawkins, Kathleen McConnell, Sandy Miller, Elyse Rogers & Susan Weaver.
