The Central Pennsylvania Guild of Handweavers (CPGH) has approximately 80 members, mostly from Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia. We normally meet at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month (September through June) at the East Berlin Area Community Center at 405 North Ave., East Berlin, Pennsylvania, 17316. Please see the map below showing the location of the East Belin Area Community Center. We have informal meetings in July or August, and our June meeting is a picnic with our yarn exchange.
At most meetings, we have a program related to the fiber arts, show-and-tell of members work, "weave doctor" to help solve problems, a short business meeting, socialization, and time to shop.
We also have a great library - click on the CPGH library page to see the contents of our library and our extensive periodical collection.
The guild is pleased to offer our members an opportunity to advance their weaving skills through our guild Advancement Program. Click on the GAP Program page to learn more.
